Utahns Encouraged to Donate Crutches, Walkers, Canes & Wheelchairs

Steward Health Care has teamed up with Intermountain Healthcare, University of Utah Health, and the Utah Hospital Association to lead a community drive – encouraging donations of gently used metal crutches, canes, walkers, and non-motorized wheelchairs.
A global shortage of aluminum means that crutches, canes, and walkers are in short supply for most hospitals. Imagine trying to get around after hip surgery or after breaking your leg without the aid of these devices.
If you have gently used aluminum crutches, a cane, a walker, or even a wheelchair, sitting around in a closet or your garage, please donate them at one of the following Steward Health Care Hospitals or go to LeanOnUtah.com for other nearby drop-off locations. All donations will be inspected for safety and sanitized, then distributed to patients who need them.
Please donate your items on one of the following dates between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
